When do you use reception cards? Couples generally use reception cards when the wedding ceremony and reception are held at two different venues, and they need to invite their guests to both events and it lets you move extra information like the address onto another sheet -- this is especially useful if you want to include the address.. Your reception cards should be included with the wedding invitations. Reception cards used to be enclosed when some guests were invited to the ceremony only; those invited to the reception as well got the card tucked into their invite. But this option is generally considered not to be polite anymore. Below are some examples for you to use, but these are only guidelines, get creative and make it your own!

Your reception cards should be printed on the same quality paper and in the same style as the invitation itself.
